The Office of Undergraduate Research at Texas A&M University enhances the undergraduate experience for all students. Our initiatives foster connections between students, faculty, staff, as well as promote interdisciplinary collaboration and professional development. By assessing and refining our initiatives to meet the evolving needs of students and faculty, and by helping shape campus-wide policies for undergraduate research, we empower the Texas A&M community to engage in meaningful scholarly work.
Our Purpose
As a tier-one research university that also serves as a land-, sea-, and space-grant institution, we are committed to supporting high impact practices that prepare students for the future. By expanding access to information and opportunities for undergraduates to engage in research, our office aligns with the overall purpose of Texas A&M—to develop leaders of character dedicated to serving the greater good.
