The Undergraduate Research Ambassadors work to inspire broader engagement in undergraduate research by educating and serving the Texas A&M University community and beyond. The program began in 2013 with our inaugural class of 12 Ambassadors. Get to know our current cohort!

What Ambassadors Do

Our Undergraduate Research Ambassadors represent Texas A&M and the Office of Undergraduate Research at a variety of research, recruiting, and outreach events.

You may see Ambassadors:

  • Speaking at the Undergraduate Research Expo
  • Volunteering at the Undergraduate Research Scholars Symposium
  • Hosting Getting Started in Research workshops and Undergraduate Research Cafes
  • Sharing advice with graduate students at the Mentoring Undergraduate Researchers workshop
  • Giving presentations to student organizations and classes
  • Meeting with administrators, faculty, and prospective students
